Exibitors

Artists, Artisans, Designers, Inventors and Creatives of all sorts:

WELCOME!
We want you to be a part of Culpeper’s annual Arts Festival!
If you are interested, here is some information you’ll want to know:

Exhibitors Booths are open to crafters, designers, and artisans of handmade art, crafted items, and original pieces of work. No resale of commercial or used items will be allowed. We would like to encourage anyone who uses any sort of creative process in a hobby or means of livelihood that may not be considered traditional “art” to consider participating as well, to share what it is they do and how their creative process is fundamentally artistic. Think – Landscape Architect, Floral Designer, Writer, App Developer – anything that has a creative process that could be shared to bring awareness to how integral and valuable creativity is in today’s world.

All creators are encouraged to display their work and have their pieces available for purchase. The festival will NOT be providing materials for booths/displays. Creators are responsible to provide their own table, tent, displays, etc.

The goal of the festival is to not only celebrate current creators but to also give our community the opportunity to discover and take part in the arts themselves. In order to accomplish this, we encourage all exhibitors to offer hands-on demonstrations, mini-projects, crash courses, comprehensive demos, or any other interactive element to their booth. The exhibitors who do offer an interactive element in their booth will be given a premium booth location in our “creative village”.

All the proceeds from The Culpeper Arts Festival will go directly to the new Jewell Tone Center for the Arts. We are requesting (but not required) you to donate one item of at least $15 value to the festival raffle whose proceeds will go directly to the Jewell Tone Center for the Arts along with festival profits from exhibitors and entrance fees.
