Art enthusiasts, music lovers and community members:
We want you to be a part of making Culpeper’s first annual Arts Festival a huge success!
We need dedicated volunteers who believe that the arts and creativity are a valuable part of life that we want our community to experience!
If you are interested in being a part of this historic first, then here is some information you’ll want to know:
The Culpeper Arts Festival is partnering with the Blue and Red Santa Project to support their mission of providing clothing and school supplies for underprivileged youth in our community during the holiday season. Your efforts as a volunteer will not only support the arts in the region but also youth in need in our city.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and are not required to assist for the entire day but we do request that they volunteers for a minimum of 4 hours (but this is not required).
Examples of volunteer tasks (not a comprehensive list):
– Day before/Morning Setup
– Vendor Unload/Reload Assistace
– Parking Attendance
– Festival Gear Booth
– Raffle Booth
– Assist with Jewell Tone Sponsored Art and Activities Booths
– Creative Village Logistics (setup/breakdown of pavilion activities)
– Main Stage Assistance (4pm-8pm)
– Trash Clean Up
– Festival Breakdown (8pm)
Setup Hours: 6pm-9pm on Friday, October 15th; 7am-10am on Saturday, October 16th
Festival Hours: 10am-7pm on Saturday, October 16th
Breakdown Hours: 7pm-9pm on Saturday, October 16th
